The Gunehar Hidden Waterfall is a mesmerizing natural wonder that you simply can't miss if you're in the area. But what sets this experience apart is the exhilarating trek required to reach this hidden gem. The journey to the waterfall is an adventure in itself. You'll find yourself navigating through challenging terrain, clambering over 10-12 feet tall rocks, and wading through refreshing waters. It's an absolute adrenaline rush! The presence of knowledgeable guides at the beginning of the trek is a game-changer. They ensure your safety and assist you every step of the way, making this adventure accessible and enjoyable for all. And when you finally arrive at the hidden waterfall, the effort is absolutely worth it. The sight of the cascading water surrounded by the natural beauty of the area is a sight to behold. It's a serene and picturesque spot that will leave you in awe. This is an experience that not only tests your adventurous spirit but also rewards you with a breathtaking natural spectacle. Gunehar Hidden Waterfall is a must-visit for those seeking a thrilling trek and a glimpse of nature's beauty all in one. It's an adventure you won't soon forget!

An Enthralling Experience You Shouldn't Miss! The trek was absolutely mind-blowing! To reach the trekking spot, you can either go on your own or hire a taxi. However, hiring a guide is mandatory—and for good reason. The trail is challenging and quite literally runs through the waterfall, making it both thrilling and demanding. Keep in mind: the pricing is per person, even if you’re in a group. So, if four people hire one guide, each will still be charged individually. Do not consider skipping the guide especially if you are a first-timer—the trek is not suitable for solo navigation due to its tricky terrain, which involves climbing over large rocks and navigating narrow trails. The effort is absolutely worth it! Once you're done, you can refuel at the local food stalls on the way back. You’ll find freshly made snacks like siddu, maggie, chai, and coffee. I highly recommend trying siddu—it's a local delicacy and the perfect way to end your adventure.

What a beautiful hidden gem in BIR. The waterfall requires you to walk 800 metres and then climb over two big rocks to and then walk barefoot in water a few metres while still crossing some mediocre sized rocks. Once you cross these hurdles you witness this beauty of a waterfall. Tricky during rain but also more fun. The shop owners on the way are very friendly. Must do a guide to reach here as he helps you climb those rocks. Also to reach the waterfall you have to pay a permit fee of Rs 75 per person. No fee for car be it local or taxi separately. And advise going on scooty or bike as some patches are very narrow and traffic coming from both sides can just give your car few scratches. Or you can also park a bit far away. Save your car and walk 2 kms instead of 800 metres.

Gunehar waterfall We were super excited and looking forward to this place, but it was quite disappointing. As soon as we reached, we were followed by a guide, and even after several “No’s” he wasn't giving up, to a point where it was interfering with our experience and making it very irritating. The start of the whole trek had beautiful scenery, which was amazing and quite magical, along with a nice picture spot for candid pictures. But as we went in, the walk turned into a hike, the hike turned into slipping down and trying not to die which changed into legit rock climbing, at which point you have to take help from a guide. The rock climbing isn't the fun type, which you can do nicely, instead it's the type where you can seriously injure yourself, and even get a fracture or muscle tear. The guides mis-guided us, saying the waterfall is close but it wasn't, and we had to really completely rely on them. One wrong step and it's over, and the waterfall itself isn't even that great. Please don't go and hurt yourself....
