At first the thing I want to say is that jayanti mata is our kull devi 🙏🏻🙏🏻 and this temple is situated in very beautiful place . No need of any review. The view from this place is amazing 😍. very neet and clean environment. this place gives you you a peace 🕊️ and happiness ☺️. when ever i visit this place I forgot all my pains and fear . you can visit with your family and friends 😊 Must visit atleast one time I believe you come again and again 🙏🏻❣️ thank you jai mata diiii 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️

The Jayanti Devi Temple and the Nandrul grasslands behind the Kangra fort in this rainy season is truly a bliss.The temple goes back in time to the Pandavas and is a bit of a hike to reach there. The surroundings are serene with the gushing Manuni River flowing below, dense green forest & countless waterfalls and natural springs in this Monsoon Season. Surely a paradise for artists, hikers, nature lovers, photographers, cyclists & a good site for a picnic.

कांगड़ा किला के ठीक सामने करीब 500 फीट ऊंची पहाड़ी पर स्थित जयंती माता का मंदिर है। जयंती माता को मां दुर्गा की छठी भुजा का एक रूप माना जाता है। कहा जाता है कि कांगड़ा में माता का यह मंदिर द्वापर युग में निर्मित हुआ था। जयंती माता जहां जीत का प्रतीक है वहीं वह पापनाशिनी भी है। पौराणिक कथाओं के अनुसार यहां पर पांडवों का भी वास कुछ समय तक रहा है। महाभारत के युद्ध के समय युधिष्ठर को मां जयंती ने स्वप्न दिया था कि उनकी इस युद्ध में जीत होगी और यह भी निर्देश दिया था कि पांडव मां चामुंडा का आशीर्वाद लें। जयंती माता के मंदिर में हर साल लगने वाले मेलों में खट्टे का व्यंजन बहुत लोकप्रिय है। पंचभीष्म मेले के दौरान (गलगल) खट्टे का व्यंजन मंदिर आने वाले श्रद्धालुओं को खिलाया जाता है। जयंती माता मंदिर एक मात्र मंदिर है जहां मेलों के दौरान खट्टे के स्टॉल व दुकान लगी होती हैं।
