astonishing view from Naddi view point and nearby hotel rooftops, pretty underrated place with having a hard road to drive on to reach. But if you are looking for watching the white Himalaya mountains from close by, this is the place for you.

Naddi is a serene hilltop village near McLeod Ganj in Himachal Pradesh, India. Located at an altitude of around 2,000 meters, it offers breathtaking views of the Dhauladhar mountain range, making it a popular yet underrated destination for nature lovers and peace seekers. Unlike the bustling tourist spots of Dharamshala and McLeod Ganj, Naddi provides a tranquil environment with panoramic landscapes, especially during sunrise and sunset.

One of the main attractions is the Naddi View Point, which offers a stunning close-up view of the snow-clad Himalayas. It is also an excellent spot for photography, meditation, and enjoying the fresh mountain air. The area is surrounded by deodar and pine forests, making it ideal for trekking, with trails leading to places like Triund, Kareri Lake, and Dharamkot.

Naddi is also a hub for Tibetan culture, with many monasteries and local settlements nearby. Several budget-friendly hotels and homestays offer cozy accommodations with rooftop views. While the road leading to Naddi can be challenging, the journey is worth it for the mesmerizing scenery. Whether you're a solo traveler, a couple, or a family, Naddi provides a peaceful retreat away from the...

Naddi is a view point in Mcleodganj, which itself is located near Dharamshala, the district headquater of Kangra district in Himachal Pradesh. Had a stay in Hotel Alpine Villa. It is the beautiful place to stay which has a wonderful view of Dhauladhar Ranges fron its balcony. Hotel has 8 rooms in all in which 3 are premium rooms which has a hill view. Naddi is a must place to stay in Mcleodganj. Mcleodganj is a beautiful place to be in. It has Bhaagsunaag Temple and Bhagsu Waterfall. It also houses a cleanest swimming pool which is full of ice cold water. Should have a bath there. If one is fond of trekking or want to explore trek then one can take a triund trek which is approx 9 km. Mcleodganj also houses beautiful cafes and wonderful food namely Jimmy's Kitchen famous for its italian food, Tibetan Kitchen famous for its tibetan food and street side momos is must try. Mcleodganj also houses a Dalailama Temple where present Dalai Lama resides. Dharamshala which is around 7-8 km from Mcleodganj houses a Cricket Stadium by HPCA, Tea Garden and also war museum. Thus, if one wants to explore dhauladhar ranges, one must have a visit to Dharamshala, Mcleodganj and...

I recently spent a soul-soothing hour at Naddi View Point, perched at around 2,000 m in the quiet village of Naddi, just a 4 km stroll or drive from McLeod Ganj. What struck me first was the clarity of the light—gentle and crisp, casting the Dhauladhar peaks in soft hues that felt almost magical .

We arrived mid-morning and found the place peaceful, with more sky than people. A lingering chill in the air, pine-scented breezes, and the grandeur of the mountains unfolding before us—it felt like stepping into an alpine dream.

Along the little plateau, there were a few simple stalls selling steaming cups of tea and Maggi. I savored a warm cup of chai while handheld stones for balance and gazed at those soaring peaks. Every sip, every breath, felt like pure stillness and presence .

Walking around, I felt the view shift subtly—the valley veiled in mist below, the play of shadows across the snow line. A visitor beside me shared that early mornings are prime for “unfiltered mountain vibes”—I couldn’t...

Visiting this place left me in complete awe of the stunning beauty that unfolded before my eyes. Despite it being April, the cold weather made it feel like winter, adding to the charm of the experience. The view of the snow-covered mountains was nothing short of breathtaking, leaving me mesmerized for hours. We spent our time indulging in delicious hot momos and tea, soaking in the picturesque surroundings. Taking a leisurely walk to the end of the road allowed us to appreciate every inch of this beautiful place. However, our visit to the sunset point turned out to be disappointing, with ongoing construction and a not-so-pleasant public toilet nearby. We later discovered that the Naddi viewpoint offers a much better experience than the so-called sunset viewpoint. Overall, despite the setback at the sunset point, this place is a paradise for nature lovers, offering stunning views and delicious treats to enjoy amidst the serene surroundings.

Oh ho! I can write about this place full day. Arguably, the best place to visit at Mcleodganj, Dharamshala. Some of the highest peaks of Dhauladhar mountains could be seen from here. Ice capped peaks, rising above clouds is a mesmerizing view in itself. The starting point for triund trek is nearby tbis point. One could also find paragliders flying at a distant topside of these mountains in the daytime. The view could be enjoyed best with the help of binoculars. And this place has the best sunrise and sunset points in whole Dharamshala. This place is situated at a little hike from mcleodganj, at naddi village., accessible on foot or by motor ride. The area has flocks of tourists at any point of time of the day, with tea and beverage outlets thronging the place. And this attached photo doesn't do full justice to what eyes could see.
