Hotel Vakratunda — Hotel in Himachal Pradesh

Hotel is situated on the top of Mcleodganj. 1km ahead of Dal Lake.

Once you reach Dharamshala please avoid taking "Khara Danda Marg" because this route is shorter approx 4 km from the other route. Google GPS will show you to follow this road. But please ignore this road its very dangerous and very steep height. Take left turn from the Dharamshala Chock and from that Chock Hotel is around 11 km. This route is far better from 'Khara Danda Marg'.

Hotel location is Good but the building structure of Hotel is average. Hotel is built on the steel structure.

Few rooms Balcony is common with other rooms. The balcony doors is accessible from the outside too. If your room is locked from outside but other person can access your room from the balcony.

No rooms on the Ground Floor, only reception and the restaurant. All rooms are on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Floor. No lifts/elevators. If you are traveling from senior citizens or small kids, please inform Hotel Staff in advance to book your rooms on the 1st floor, need to take hardly 6 to 7 small steps to reach to 1st floor.

No Air conditioners in the rooms but the temperature was good so no need of it in fact the Fan is also running on the speed of3 or 4 in the month of August.

Over all stay was good but hotel need to impore lil but quality of food. I am not saying it's bad but need to...

This a Hotel in Naddi the last point of hotel in Naddi and not in upper Dharmashala.|This is budget hotel with all facilities like a gyser,kettle, toiletries,tea maker,water and TV.|All rooms have a balcony and some has great views of the mountain range. However the hotel doesn't have non-veg not even a omelet u can get here.|Rooms were clean, but there is no lift so be careful and ask them to give lower level floors if u have issues climbing stairs.||The staff were good and service was good too.||The main problem with hotel is that its used by Agents for bulk booking and thus too crowded with too.much noise and hustle bustle. My kid could not sleep till 11.30 as the bulk group was having there dinner and they were shouting too much. However after complaint the hotel managed to calm them down.|Also Hotel gives this bulk group a spcl kitchen for cooking and thus we had to take our dinner in rooms as there were no place left for sitting in dining area.|But overall it is good hotel if dont get those...
