It was worth driving on bumpy roads in rain to visit this place. Green meadows beautiful temples and welcoming people made the day. Location was picturesque and surrounding was full of clouds. The mountains around these meadows added brilliance to out pictures and there was a calmness to feel. It is good if you visit here when there are not much clouds. The cafes around are good too. The host treated us with fresh apples from the fields. If you go further on the road there is a beautiful way with apple trees and giant mountain views. There will be some small waterfalls and beautiful cafes. The hostels here are good if you want to stay. I visited in September and it was extended monsoon there. It would be great to visit in early Apr to get the clear view without clouds. Please make sure you maintain dignity as this is a holy Ground. No smoking or drinking is allowed here. Also the grazing cows and goats give you a picture perfect frame. There are some Himalayan Mastiffs roaming around and are totally harmless unless you bully them. If you are around jibhi this is the most...

Dedicated to local deity Shangchul Mahadev, the temple has mention from Mahabharata times. It is said that Pandavas on exile took shelter here and when Kauravas came here for them, lord Shanchul devoid them entry. Since then people take shelter here esp eloped couples who marry against the society. The old temple( of Mahabharata times) got destroyed in fire and therefore new temple was built.

It's a beautiful wooden carved temple of Mahadev. Sitting beside the temple gives peace and the cool breezy Meadows, birds chirping gives another level of satisfaction. Scenic views in the evening amazed me how it could be so beautiful ЁЯШН. You can't stay in Meadows after 7:30 but still you'll get stunning views of sun setting behind the temple and the pine trees.
