Katras Palace — Attraction in Jharkhand

The Katras Palace was built in India when Zamindari was followed here, in the year 1763. This place was then the considered the residence and head-quarters of the Jharia Raj(Jharia Estate pre-independence).The key features of Katras Palace are the Jharia Raj High School (the oldest school founded in 1866 in the region). Such a nice historic place. There is an old vintage car for a display that is awesome. Encountered this place during a field visit.. the buildings itself are beautiful with their architectural values.. the entrace of the palace and the building itself also is the evidence of good architecture.. but it's sad to see it's in broken condition, if not maintained and repaired one day it will turn into ruins and the history will be gone.
