Topchanchi Dhanbad - In Topchanchi, tourists can see an artificial lake that was excavated along the base of the slant of the Parasnath Hill in 1915. This lake was created to supply water to Jharia. Visitors can also go to Gomoh, which is 6 km from the Topchanchi Lake. Gomoh is the place where on 18th January 1941 Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose embarked on the train for his departure from India. Jawaharlal Nehru Biological Park Bokaro Steel City - The biggest zoological garden in Jharkhand was built in the late 80s and early 90s. It has animals and birds from different parts of the world, with the big cats being the biggest attractions. The zoo came into limelight after multiple breedings of white tigers, royal bengal tigers, and the Asiatic lion over a short span of time. The cubs were sent to different zoos in India and abroad, since the available resources were not good enough to cater to the needs of so many big cats. Boating is allowed in the artificial lake created within the park. There is also a kids corner near bear cage and adjacent to it is a small dam. It is located at a distance of approximately 22 kilometers from the main Dhanbad city, and the followers of Hinduism and other religions come here to worship the goddess. The local king helped construct the temple nearly 800 years ago, as the Goddess Lilori was family deity of the king.
