It is a unique place created by British 1924.the place beauty is unique but everybody have a fear of something unseen factor of so-called MAO BAD I,,,visiting towers are placed but no one allowed to go there ...why????don't know....the guard SRI MAHATO only person who helped to visit surrounding the lake.the unforgoteble person explained everything about the area ..but I astonished who getting sallery from govt organisations at rate of 5th pay commission last 35 months...then I understand why the govt officials are noncooperative attitude.if I am there my attitude may also like MAO badi ....no one is fitting for them....another personality the only teaseller near lake excellent personality who once upon a time Bengali community-based but now ......the man who talked about film personality like UTTAM KUMAR and served him tea by own hand ...the hidden quality of him ....he constructing one big Hanuman temple near lake...try everyone who visiting lake..at least moral support....... Lastly a dying beauty spot vanishing slowly otherwise it could be the lovers point of jhar khand..only govt care can change the senario and people like MAHATO.....CAN ALIVE.....to save the...

It's one one best place to visit in Jharkhand .it's located near to Dhanbad District in Jharkhand .It's lake and small Dam is there which is constructed before the Independence of india.AT the time of British India.Lake is surrounded by Roads which 9Km is circumference of roads and behind the lake Parasnath Hills is clearly visible from there .if weather permit you can see the Parasanth temple also.Its open only for limited timing- 10Am-5:30pm in summer and for Winter -10:30am - 4:30pm. Sometimes you can some wild animals there during summer .

.Best to reach from GOMOH RAILWAY STATION which is 8km far from your destination Auto or taxi you can hire easily .By roads you can access by NH-2
