Arbi Waterfall is the most beautiful waterfall in Udupi. This place is very near to the Manipal Museum of Anatomy & Pathology. This is a very nice place where you can travel to this place with your family as well. It is one of the nearest waterfalls in Manipal. It's not very huge but enough to enjoy the scenery and dip in the waterfall. One can trek to the top of the waterfall to find an amazing view. If you are looking to beat Udupi’s heat, this is the perfect place. The fall gets huge especially during the monsoon and I visited in the first week of August. There is a beautiful temple near the waterfall. There are no charges to visit the place and keep in mind not to litter the place since there is no dustbin to put the trash in. You will not find any restaurants or washrooms. The transport is also not available. One can either come by their vehicle or hire an auto/taxi. There is a small parking place available and one has to walk only 5 minutes to reach the waterfalls.

It's a place not that far from the city and really convint place of you just wanna relax in the Beauty of nature The way is pretty straight there's no hike to that place though it's not recommended for pregnant and people with need, it is right besides the temple just a bit forword it might take a minute or 2 to find it once you teach the temple but if you're really can't find it you'll always find locals there There is no fee for entering though keep on mind you should not litter in that place as you won't find any dustbins nearby so you have to collect your own trash And if your going there this monsoon (the stream'll only be in monsoon) if it's not raining you will find people there no escapeing then You won't be alone there'll always be people Other from that it's a pretty cool place But what ever happens it's all on you you have to take care of your belongings and yourself Okay that's about it:)

Arbi Falls provides a mesmerizing view with its picturesque location and grandeur. Surrounded by lush flora, situated amidst forest, this waterfall gives you a thrilling experience as you need to trek a little to the falls from Shri Vaishnavi Durga temple. The trek amidst nature, with the view of cascading silver streams of the falls is a serene retreat. It is a seasonal waterfall which can be enjoyed only during the monsoon (August-November) post which it disappears. The waterfall is small and of lower height but is easily accessible. One can sit on the rocks, dip your feet and enjoy the view. This place is worth a visit as it is not known to many people yet. The rocks are a bit slippery so be careful while trekking. It is 2kms from Tiger Circle, Manipal. One can easily reach Durga temple by vehicle post which a small trek is required. Do include this place in your Udupi itinerary.

One of the nearest falls to Manipal. Located just 2kms away from the tiger circle Manipal. This falls flows beautifully with heavy sound especially during heavy rain. So don't even expect it to flow during summer season. It's blank then!!! And even in the monsoon season you have to be here on the heavy rain days. If you are travelling on one sunny day in monsoon even then you witness average amount of water, but not much. I witnessed it!!! When I reached there the average amount of water was flowing, but suddenly after 5 minutes of heavy rain you can't even imagine the amount of water and water force and then suddenly it gets low. That's how it is. Because the water is not coming from hills. It's just a rain water from the upper forests or streets. But we are sad that we couldn't click our picture because of continuous rain afterwards.

We visited this small falls on the 8th Oct, the previous night udupi has received good rains and to our delight the small falls was a good surprise as even the locals were saying there may not be any water. We took the risk and been there and we were delighted. A few steps from the drop point (path to the falls was slushy due to previous night rains), we come across a pond adjacent. followed by few steps through a forest like feeling greets you with a small falls that arbi could offer. Kids loved the time spent there. And best part there were no other people when we went there, like the falls to ourselves. Spent a good 30mins there and gotten back, but there are no change Or wash rooms here. Also we have a temple adjacent to this place for enthusiasts. Had a great one time experience.

ARBI Falls just 1star, Yes, all others given below comments are very true, As my point of view "only visiting for PHOTO SUIT PLACE that's it. When you see from the road it's looks fully Greenie and mountain view. Near by house drainage waters(23%) are messed up with falls waters(77%) and also bit of wastages like plastic things and dresses, so strictly don't drink and bath, there near one temple also available, the temple not allow to join falls water into the pond, In there only saving rain water to use God cleaning purpose, and also we went at raining season. Im suggesting to Karanataka government to maintain and take care of this falls like Koodalu falls will be good for the future or otherwise after it will looks like Chennai Koovam Thank you, Gopala Krishnan.R
