The Batte Vinayaka Temple in moodahadu, Barkur is a place of spiritual significance and guidance, as its name suggests. It holds a special place in the hearts of devotees seeking advice and direction in their lives. The temple's serene ambiance and ancient architecture add to its charm. The Mudu Ganapathi Seve Pooja conducted here is highly auspicious and symbolic. Offering 130 coconuts and various other offerings during this pooja is a sacred ritual that signifies devotion, purity, and seeking the blessings of Lord Ganesha. The number 130 may have specific significance in the temple's tradition, and it's essential to follow the prescribed rituals and offerings with utmost sincerity and devotion. Devotees believe that performing this elaborate pooja not only seeks the guidance and blessings of Lord Ganesha but also helps remove obstacles and provides direction in their lives. It's a beautiful expression of faith and devotion in the spiritual context of the Batte Vinayaka Temple.

Beautiful Vinayaka Temple. Nice location with small pond. Don’t miss to take one of the tastiest Panchakajjaya prasad available here.

Batte Vinayaka Temple is one of the oldest shrines of the district. This Temple attracts large number of devotees on Sankashtahara Chaturdashi, Ganesha Chowthi and other auspicious days relating to Lord Ganapathi. The idol of Lord Ganesha is probably the only deity facing towards north. But, wearing a small piece of cloth around its waist and bells and plaited hair, the idol of Lord Ganesha is slightly leaning...

A nice temple. The maintenance is good. You would find monkeys around most of the times. There is also a pretty big lake nearby. Along with the God, ofcourse, the most famous thing about this temple is its Prasad or Pachakajjaya. I have never tasted more tastier prasad than the one prepared in this temple. They now have a separate counter inside the temple. So, all the receipts for pujas and prasadams must be...
