It is supposed to be the kula devate of the Devadiga community. It is a recently built temple but has the divine vibration in and around. Ekanatheshwari Amma is worshipped and all the rituals performed by Brahmins are filled with divinity and positivity. Every year Navaratri is celebrated specially and attracts the devotees with Pooja rituals like Chandika homa. Similarly, every year there is a Devadiga Vadhu -Vara Anveshana program (matrimony) done free of cost to help the prospective grooms and brides of the Devadiga community.

This temple is the main temple of temple of Devadiga community. Recently renovated. Beautiful temple. Parking space is available. This temple is surrounded by many other temples of different deities. There are more than 365 temples are there in Barkur village of Udupi district. Calm and serene. Must visit temple especially for Devadiga community.

A very calm and cozy place surrounded by many other temples of different deities. The locality provides you a glimpse of rural life and one is sure to be impressed by it's simplicity.

Situated in Barkur near udupi, the temples here are typical Kerala styled temples. This one is a very old temple and the adjacent panchalingeshwar temple is even older.

No restrictions in photography

Just around 15 minutes from udupi, it's a lovely beautiful town with 3 to 4 beautiful temples and a beautiful railway station part of konkan railwaya. There is a beautiful river and u can get down to the bank of the river too before crossing the bridge...
