In my recent trip to Mysore, Me and my family came across a spot that took me by surprise - The Lingambudhi Botanical Garden. It was a garden tucked away from all the usual tourist spots and had offered a serene and refreshing experience that more people should know about.
The garden is huge with a lot of quiet pathways that led you to different sections, Which included Flowering plants, Fruit trees, Neatly trimmed grass hedges (Some beautifully shaped into elephants, Rabbits and Swan) and even a butterfly garden that had the most butterflies I had seen in one place.
One of the best parts? The birds. Peacocks, Sparrows so many others I couldn’t name - just living freely without any disturbance. There was something really grounding about seeing all that life around you in such a calm setting.

Read moreI did not go to the botanical garden during the daytime, but rather at night around 10,11 or something. Me and my friend were on scooty to visit this place just so that we could drive peacefully for some time without taking a break( it was the farthest thing from our hotel). But this turned into a nightmare or something, damn the place is like a haunted area at night, literally very few lights were there, complete silence except for the sounds of the bugs. We didn't even have the courage to enter this garden cause it was so dark, although we were thinking to go back, all of a sudden one uncle was sitting in a street light facing his back towards us, wasn't even moving a bit.
