Floating bridge in Malpe is Karnataka's first floating Bridge & 2nd in india after beypore beach in Calicut. Inaugurated 2years ago in late May 2022 but was broken due poor quality and low.Later on, in summer 2023 it was handed over to private through auction bidding funding on contract basis. Initially the govt was charging Rs.100 per person for 15 minutes. But when it started as PPP they started charging ₹150 for 15mins which is expensive. The floating bridge is open through the day.But what I can say is evening gives us a thrilling experience of sunsetting, energetic waves, lights under floating bridge all gives a picturesque view. But it's crowded at that time.If you prefer less crowd then daytime would be perfect & may extend till 20mins if no visitors are awaiting. Lifeguards will be guiding and assisting you till a big wave comes which is the best part of this bridge will guide you how to balance through waves.Initially one can get scared but once learning through balance facing waves it would be super thrilling. All thanks to guide who was super interesting & communicative in explaining all of these.
Caution- Dont stand at the edge of Bridge Don't keep your foot in circles since it's a connecting point Try keeping your foot inside the square tiles which gives efficient balance in...
Read moreIt seems there might be some confusion here. As of my last update in January 2022, there isn't a Malpi Floating Bridge located in Karnataka, India. However, Karnataka is home to many significant bridges and infrastructure projects.

These bridges play crucial roles in connecting various regions of the state, facilitating transportation, and fostering economic development.
The state's capital, Bengaluru, is a hub of technological innovation and infrastructure development. It is home to numerous flyovers, overpasses, and underpasses designed to ease traffic congestion in this bustling metropolis.
While there might not be a Malpi Floating Bridge in Karnataka, the state continues to invest in infrastructure projects to improve connectivity, enhance accessibility, and spur socio-economic growth. With its blend of modernity and tradition, Karnataka remains a key player in India's...
