Hoode Beach Udupi — Attraction in Karnataka

Its fairly clean. Its good for looking out for sea birds also. But new indiscriminate development activity might put this beach to shame. There is proposal to build road along the beach side. Been there when Ockhi cyclone was in full force at Lakshadweep and could see the effect on this beach. The high tide waves got stronger because of cyclone was hitting stones put up to avoid water entering house holds on beaches. So not sure whether this beach will continue to maintain its charm to attract people for evening breeze? Birds might still come but will drop...

This beach has many names other than Hoode Beach it's called Kodi Bengre/Tonse beach /Delta beach/Canara beach. It remains the most unexplored underrated beaches in Udupi district. Its is truly scenic and serene. This beach remains very clean as the crowd is less and you can always enjoy the sunset.
