Hosabettu Beach in Mangalore is a hidden gem that’s perfect for those who enjoy a quieter, more natural beach experience. Unlike some of the busier beaches around Mangalore, Hosabettu has a relaxed, untouched vibe. The sandy shore is clean, and the surroundings are peaceful, making it an ideal spot for a serene escape from city life.

One of the best parts about Hosabettu Beach is the stunning sunset view. As the sun dips into the Arabian Sea, it creates a beautiful, almost magical atmosphere. There are some rocks scattered along the shore, which add a bit of character to the landscape and make for great photo opportunities. Since the beach is relatively quiet, you can really enjoy the sound of the waves and the gentle sea breeze without too many distractions.

There aren’t many food stalls or facilities here, so it’s a good idea to bring your own snacks and water if you’re planning to stay a while. But that lack of commercialization is part of what makes Hosabettu so special. Overall, it’s a great spot to unwind, enjoy nature, and catch a beautiful sunset. Perfect for anyone looking for a...

This is a lovely and serene beach. Unlike other beaches it spreads gradually into the sea and the mean width of beach I. E. Walking area is more than 30 meters. The water recedes slowly and rises slowly. Safe for swimming but u deer supervision. There are no life guards here. The beach has not yet been commercialised but is a heaven for couples to have a long walk on beach together hands in hands. People here are accepting too and have no. Issues with public display of affection. (not sure till what extent, try your luck!) the place has scenic beauty added with sparse crowd. No disturbance. I tried driving bike on beach and has solid settled surface for a car too. There are only. One or Two entry points for vehicles. No police no security no crowd no. Disturbance. In addition there are no shops as well. The beach has all lined up sea facing...

Although not as popular as the other beaches around the city, I actually prefer this over them for a few good reasons. 1) Way less crowded, meaning that one can truly find peace and solace here. That's what an ideal beach to me would sound like. 2) Well maintained and organized by the locals around here. One could sit here for hours and not feel any urge to go back because of how clean and tidy this beach really is. 3) Not commercialized at all and hence less crowd. It's a win-win situation. 4) Lastly, I may be biased towards this particular beach for all the reasons I've listed but in my honest opinion, this really is the best beach in the entire region.
