I recently had the pleasure of spending two delightful days at RK Beachfront in February 2024, and I must say, it was a truly memorable experience.

First and foremost, the rooms at RK Beachfront are simply excellent. Spacious, well-furnished, and impeccably maintained, they provide the perfect retreat after a day of exploration. The property itself exudes a sense of tranquility and is evidently well cared for, adding to the overall ambiance of relaxation.

The staff members were incredibly helpful throughout my stay, ensuring that all my needs were met promptly and with a smile. While the hotel does not have an in-house restaurant, they seamlessly arranged for delicious meals to be delivered from local eateries, offering a taste of the authentic local cuisine.

One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the beach-facing location of the property. Despite its proximity to Mangalore city, the beach remained serene and uncrowded, providing the ideal setting for a leisurely stroll or simply unwinding by the shore. It was truly a treat to wake up to the sound of waves crashing against the shore and to witness dolphins gracefully swimming by from the comfort of my room's balcony.

What impressed me most about RK Beachfront was its affordability without compromising on quality. Despite its prime location and top-notch amenities, the hotel remains easy on the pocket, making it accessible to a wide range of travelers.

Although the hotel was fully booked during my stay, the serene atmosphere of the beach and the spaciousness of the property ensured that it never felt overcrowded. This, coupled with the personalized service and breathtaking views, made for an unforgettable experience.

In conclusion, I would highly recommend RK Beachfront to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat near Mangalore city. We had the pleasure of staying at this incredible hotel, and it was a truly unforgettable experience!

Location & Beach: RK Beachfront is situated about 15 minutes from the highway, but its location is a major highlight, with a stunning beachside setting. Perfect for a family or friends vacation, it's also an ideal place for couples. The clean and quiet beaches are just a short walk away, feeling like a private beach! The minimal crowd adds to the tranquility, and the sound of waves at night is soothing. Note that there are some restrictions on beach access after 8 PM IST, and limited public transport to the highway (Surathkal).

Room & View: The sea-view rooms were breathtaking, with amazing views from the balcony and room. Spacious, neat, and well maintained, they came with all necessary amenities, including a king-size bed, TV, TV console, cupboard, table, Coffee table, chairs, and Bedside table. The towels, soap bars and Hand wash were provided.

Staff: The staff were incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Mr. Prashanth was particularly humble and kind during the booking and check-in/check-out process, always greeting us with a smile.

Food & Service: Although there's no in-house restaurant, the hotel has a convenient system for ordering food from a menu placed in the room, which is arranged and delivered promptly. We were impressed with the well-organized staff, who quickly delivered our dinner orders and set up everything that’s required to dine in a short time. We enjoyed delicious vegetarian food, including sweet corn soup, paneer chilly, and veg Biryani. Room service was great, and they even offer Zomato/Swiggy delivery options. They also do have desserts (Ice cream). Water bottle is an added compliment.

In conclusion, we highly recommend this hotel for a serene beach vacation. It deserves a 5-star rating, and we will certainly visit again to experience the pleasant stay once...

Horrible stay. The only good thing about this was the location. No hot water, broken fixtures everywhere and the entire place smells of whatever cheap cleaner they use which smells like a mix of hospitals and rotting garbage. The rooms were also very dirty, lipstick stains on the pillow, sand everywhere. The toilet also leaks everytime you flush it which is probably why the bathroom constantly smells of sewage. To top it all off I left at 11 pm after my friend left because I felt very unsafe thanks to the extremely rude staff. They claim to be dog friendly but definitely aren't. I don't mind if they weren't dog friendly but at least they should let their customers know instead of letting their staff harass the customers because they can't be bothered to deal with the things that come with allowing a dog to stay there. Then have the audacity to charge me a cleaning fee when they made it very clear I would have to clean up after any accidents, which I did everytime with cleaning supplies that I had to go get and find myself on what was supposed to be a relaxing holiday. If your staff is not equiped to deal with customers in a kind and calm manner and your rooms are falling apart, full of sand and smell like sewage, you have no right to charge them the 3-4000 rupees that you do per night. Would give it a 0 out of 5 if I could, wouldn't even recommend my worst enemy...
