Sadhankeri Lake — Attraction in Karnataka

We visited during our brief stay in Dharwad. It is on a lake and well planned. There are statues and some play area for kids. The maintenance needs to be better. The grass and trees were all dry. You can spend 30 mins to 1 hour at this place and not more that that. You can visit poet Da Ra Bendre's house and memorial which is a few meters away from this place Its good for kids, relaxing for adults and many games are also there. its quite difficult to go there as very limited buses...

Beautiful lake surrounded by a beautiful garden and walking lane across. This lake is a best place morning walk or even walk. The lake is located exactly at the centre and it's surrounding garden. Very spacious and we'll planted trees. But nil mainatainance. Lake is full of creepers. There used to be so much activities and plays and boating was there for kids when it got inaugurated. But now there is nothing and just for a walk and jog people are using it. For a walk and jog it's very good since it got trees and you can breathe fresh oxygen.
