Sanjivini Tree Park, Forest Department — Attraction in Karnataka

Sanjivini Tree Park is a beautiful park filled with Peace and Greenery, Fresh Air, and with a very enjoyable environment!

The park is really good and well maintained, it has a separate play area for Kids / Children to enjoy and to do many enjoyable activities.

According to me, the entry fee of the Park is High priced! The ticket price for a single person is ₹40 and the vehicle parking price is ₹15. It's very High priced!

My point of view : My experience was quite good because the park is for everyone, anyone can visit and enjoy here, no restrictions, But the only thing that I didn't like here is.. wherever you see, couples are enjoying themselves and doing their activities that I can't explain here, according to me the government should strictly restrict these types of activities in the park. The only reason that I'm saying this is, some families also visit the park to enjoy & spend quality time and they may find it disturbing, They may feel shameful, because some families bring their children with them to the park and play with them, but just imagine.. how uncomfortable they may feel after seeing these types of activities happening in the park?. This should be restricted or should make a separate area only for couples. I think this might be a Great improvement in the park.

Except this my overall experience...

As the name suggests park is full of medicinal trees, herbs and shrubs which is very useful for school kids to learn and feel them. Kids can enjoy some playful toys in the park but unfortunately 😕 this park is full of couples at every nook and corner making love with their loved ones and this is not the right place to do so. Because of which families don't often visit to this park. Today when i visited noticed only 10% of the park was occupied by full fledged families and the rest 90% yes you guessed it right with full of couples. Now due to Corona only limited part of park is open and way to the top of the hill is...

One of the best green places in Hubli Dharwad. Nothing much to explore inside the garden though. There is children's play area at the top. Plantations of various species of trees. They have provided some information about each tree. There is a restaurant inside park. And that's pretty much it. There is also a maze made up of grass. Entry fee is 15₹. Make sure you bring valid ID along with you, They take it once you enter Park, and return back...
