Chembra Peak Trekking Jeep — Attraction in Kerala

One of the best things to do in Wayanad is this Chembra trek. Trek is around 3kms to the top. And there is a small lake at the peak as well. The view at the top with clouds and greenery is absolutely beautiful. There are limited tickets available per day so try to go early morning. Ticket counter opens at 5am and the trek opens at 7am. Best to go in groups as the ticket has fixed cost of ₹4000 for a group of upto 5 people. ₹800/person for each additional person in the group. Can carry glass water bottle provided at the ticket counter, no plastic...

Local people are hoarding the tickets. It is waste of time to reach the trekking site midnight, because there is no chance of getting token unless you catch hold of local guide and pay them...
