Jatayupara is a hillock located in Chadayamangalam, near Kollam. The spot is famous for the giant rock sculpture of Jatayu, the mythical bird of the epic Ramayana. Jatayupara has been developed into rock-theme Nature Park, with many attractions drawing tourists throughout the year. Jatayu Earth Center boasts of 3D theatre, adventure zone with 20 games, and a digital museum. Jatayu Earth Center, is a eco park and tourism centre located at Chadayamangalam in Kollam district of Kerala. It is the world’s largest bird sculpture and you can visit this place by using cable car or by climbing 800+ steps. There is ample car parking area and you can get tickets from the entrance. The tickets are on higher side 250 Rs just for entering the premises and again 250+ for cable car ride which is justified though. Upon arrival on the top you can see the mighty Jatayu sculpture. The museum is still in building phase and would take more time to build. If anyone is planning to visit here call the place beforehand and check if there is any chances of rain or thunderstorms as they don’t operate the cable cars during this. You have good public facilities like small food court with yummy snacks and beverages and clean washrooms. Overall my experience visiting here was great.

This is one of the excellent tourist attraction in Trivandrum district. Almost 40 km from trivandrum. The big jadayu bird statu is situated on the top of the rock. You can either clump the stpes or can avail cable car from the basement. Ticket cost comes around 500 per pax, which includes entry, photography and cable car ride, which is reasonable. You can avail senior citizens discount as well. Best time slot to visit is either in the morning or after 5PM as it may be very much hot on the top. The place is kept very much clean. Staff are very much helpful. Neat and clean Toilet facilities there in the bade camp and top. They won't allow big baggages to the top. Cable car ride is an excellent feel. It's a good feel to take steps while coming down. You can spend till 8.30 PM there on the rock. Food and snacks are available on the top part which is a bit costly.

One of the must visit UNESCO site located in kollam kerala. A must visit place for kollam residents. The biggest bird sculpture in the world. Truely a marvelous sculpture to be seen. Better to take the evening time to the site for a lightly treat. If you want to have an international experience of visiting a tour location, do mark this location. The artist & his investors have truly made this site an eye catching site. You have a choice of view with amount of money in your pocket, you can take a helicopter ride of the whole area, take swiz made cable Car, or by stairs up to the jatayu stone. Well each option provides you unique experience, worth trying each. On top you have one more to see the big tows of Rama. Really big toes means how big Rama was @ theda yugam. You have Rama temple, still on with construction and also a musium still under construction.

Expensive 😶 I visited on Jan ,2022. Fare : Cable car ride + Entry fee = 530₹/person (including GST) They won't allow food items to carry inside For each and every thing they will charge too expensive ( food , games ..etc) Just they have created hype in social media about it , other than statue nothing we can't expect new thing...Inside the statue some construction work was going on like 12D theatre etc..so we were not allowed to get inside the jatayu statue.I just enjoyed that hill view with heavy wind and clickex some pics ..thats it nothing special .. "Just Show" only Waste of money... To enjoy hill view with gusts and cable car ride better visit palani, Tamilnadu
