Kanjirapuzha Dam is loacared in Palakkad district in Kerala. It is a water reservoir surrounded by mountain ranges on most sides. Kanjirapuzha Dam has an area of 7,000 hectares. I spent an afternoon with my family at Kanjirapuzha Dam. It's a very beautiful location to spend the afternoon there. Kids have a park and a simple playing area with various activities. My daughter loved the slides, swings, monkey bars and others there. Walking on the Kanjirapuzha Dam and seeing the shutter releasing the water was an amazing feeling. There are water fountains located in the Kanjirapuzha Dam park. The Kanjirapuzha Dam water fountain timings are from 4 PM to 7:30 PM.
Kanjirapuzha Dam entry fees was just Rs. 30/- for adults, Rs. 15/- for senior citizens (60+) Rs. 30/- for children (3 to 12 yrs). The tickets are currently in all cash. They do not accept UPI at present. The vehicle parking fees charge is Rs. 20/- per vehicle (four wheeler) 🚲🛵🏍️🚙🚗🛻🚐🚚🚜🏎️🛺🚌🚖🚘🚍. There are trees 🌲🌳🌴 in the parking area that provide little relief from the hot sun. There are restrooms inside (the park area) and outside also. The restrooms located inside the park are neat and clean. There is purified drinking water available in the park for all. Kanjirapuzha Dam park and walkway area are cleaned regularly.
