Karapuzha Dam located in the Wayanaddistrict of Kerala, is one of the biggest earth dams in India. Karapuzha Dam is located in the greenish and natural regions of Wayanad, Kerala on the Karapuzha River, a tributary of the Kabini River. Construction on the dam began in 1977 and it was complete in 2004. The purpose of the dam is irrigation and it left and right bank canals are still under construction.2

Well paved walkways, lawns and trees, everything you need to enjoy an serene environment... The garden is designed in such a way that a long pond like system ( now defunct) with fountains in regular intervals, accompany the entire length of the walking path. Now it's totally devoid of water and it gives an impression that the garden is not maintained well. That's the reason why you find lot of reviews complaining about poor maintenance.
