Mango Park — Attraction in Kerala

Well maintained open park with benches overlooking beautiful view of Calicut city, small park for kids, an open gym, walking track and few photographic spots too.

Happy to see this within the city. Good place to take kids for an evening. Adults can also visit to see the beauty of the city and get some fresh air.

However, during my visits, I saw there are adults who use the kids swing & slide. Even though there are boards and a caretaker to tell them not to use kids equipments, still people use it. This can significantly cause wear and tear of those items. If anyone is visiting the park, please consider this as an appeal to not use kids equipment if you're an adult. Places like these are hard to find within the city and each individual should take responsibility to keep it...

It is a nice place to trek with friends to enjoy some good time. It is filled with lush green plants all around and the steep slopes makes a good work out for you. Make sure to keep snacks and water beforehand because there are no shops nearby. The route to there is such a steep road tbh I was hella scared 🤣😭 but it was funny to go there with friends who love adventures. Mango park is located at the hilltop of Ervathukunnnu, hardly 3-4 km away from calicut city. It's a calm view point to relax 1 - 2 hours, you can get the long view of calicut city from mango park. The sunset view is awsome to watch, chairs are fixed for the visitors here. It's a nice place for jogging, lot of people use to be here to do excercise in the morning and evenings.
