Munambam Beach, nestled along the captivating coastline of Kerala, holds a special allure due to its unique estuary. Here, the majestic River Periyar, the longest river in Kerala, gracefully merges with the Arabian Sea, creating a mesmerizing natural spectacle. This convergence of river and sea lends Munambam Beach an enchanting charm that sets it apart from other coastal destinations.

What makes Munambam Beach truly remarkable is its tranquil ambiance and pristine surroundings. Unlike the bustling Cherai Beach, Munambam offers a serene escape, with fewer crowds and a sense of unspoiled beauty. The beach's expansive stretch of shoreline, adorned with fine golden sand, invites leisurely strolls and moments of contemplation amidst the soothing sound of lapping waves.

One of the distinct features of Munambam Beach is its abundant lagoons that encircle the area. These tranquil water bodies, nestled amidst lush greenery, add a touch of serenity and create a picturesque backdrop. Exploring these lagoons, either by foot or through a relaxing boat ride, allows visitors to immerse themselves in the harmonious coexistence of land, river, and sea.

Munambam Beach offers a delightful assortment of activities for adventure enthusiasts. Along the long walkway that stretches alongside the shoreline, visitors can indulge in invigorating water sports. Whether it's jet skiing, parasailing, or simply enjoying a banana boat ride, the beach provides a thrilling playground for those seeking an adrenaline rush. The azure waters of the Arabian Sea beckon visitors to dive in and experience the joy of swimming in its refreshing embrace.

The ambiance at Munambam Beach is further enhanced by its scenic beauty and panoramic vistas. The expansive views of the merging river and sea, bathed in the warm hues of the setting sun, create a captivating sight that awakens the senses. Photographers and nature enthusiasts will find themselves captivated by the myriad opportunities to capture stunning images of this natural spectacle.

When it comes to amenities, Munambam Beach ensures that visitors are well catered to. The presence of a long walkway allows for comfortable strolls along the shore, and the wide expanse of beachfront provides ample space for relaxation and picnics. Additionally, there are facilities for refreshments and local snacks, allowing visitors to savor the flavors of Kerala while enjoying the beach's tranquility.

In conclusion, Munambam Beach offers a truly unique coastal experience with its stunning estuary, surrounding lagoons, and peaceful ambiance. Its natural beauty, coupled with a range of water sports activities, makes it a delightful destination for both adventure seekers and those seeking solace in nature. Whether you wish to witness the majestic union of river and sea, explore the serene lagoons, or simply bask in the serenity of a less crowded beach, Munambam Beach promises an unforgettable and...

Munambam beach is a little more than 1 km from the Cherai beach. It easy to reach from Paravoor. The speciality is that the beach is less crowded compared to the Cherai beach. Ofcourse the beach is smaller but it offers you an opportunity to spent a quiet evening with your family in the company of sea breeze. My family had a great time bathing in the sea.The nearby chidren's park delighted my kids. The sun set with Chinese nets in the background is a sight. We were able to take a lazy walk through the bridge heading to the sea. When the sun finally sets we can see many fishing boats returning to the Munambam harbour. The boats travel in close proximity so that we get a clear glimpse of its interiors as well. Again, there are many local fishermen who tries to sell freshly caught fish in the nearby stalls. If you are lucky you can see them fishing with Chinese nets. If you are finished with your swimming, easy walks and sight seeing, you can approach one of those small shops that offer you hot n cold drinks coupled with crispy snacks. The egg bajji is really great so go for it. If the nature is calling you at this moment please stay away from the comfort rooms. They are horrible beyond descriptions. We may also wish that the beach was a bit more clean. Then our way backhome we decide to have our dinner at Sivettan's thattukada at Cherrai. Its a restraunt which keeps the ambience of a local toddy shop serving mostly sea food. We ate to our hearts content and drove back with a...
