I went to see the Sunrise and i loved it .STOP LITTERING . Its a bit difficult to reach as there is no proper directions provided. You can ask a local to point you in the right way . I will give the directions below :- On the way to Munnar after a home stay called Mistletoe here is a junction with a shop called Spice county ,just a bit further you will see a Kudumbasree hotel and road going up on the left . When you go a bit further you will see a church ,go straight- staying on the road you will see a small tea shop on the left and a concrete road going steep down ,you can park you car here and at the end of the concrete road ,you will see a dirt road on the left . Walk a bit on that road and you will see a shop and a dirt road to the right and a little bit further you will see some steps on the side of a house going up thats the trail .

Mesmerizing view of Idukki ⛰️🌏 Recently visited Pettimudi hill, it is one of the best place to visit in Munnar, You should start the trekk by early morning to get the best views or by the evening to see the sunset, i am sure that you would love this place. There are 4-5 peak points, and the view is amazing. Trekking distance : 1-2KM Time : 20-30min max Mediam trekk Allowed to visit during covid pandemic, no restrictions. Note : If you're going by car, i would not recommend you to take your car to the base point because it's really hard to climb. You can go if you're a expert driver, (Never seen such a peak road in my life. you won't be able to see the road if you're climbing the road 😅😅😅 Not only for car, for bike riders also be careful while going to the base camp. I had a recent visit to the Pettimudy view point, near Adimali in Idukki. I reached there early in the morning and the area was fully misty that I couldn't see the Sun at all. It takes around one hour of hard trekking to reach the top of the hill, but the view and the serene atmosphere is worth it. Though it was a sunny day, I couldn't feel that because of the chilly weather. The spot is indeed a perfect choice for those who wish to spend their day in a mist filled adventurous locale.

It is a mountain located near Adimaly in Idukki district of Kerala. You can have an amazing sunrise experience if you are able to get here by 6 AM. Best Time to Visit Pettimudi Hill Top

To truly experience the magic of this location, it is best to visit early in the morning to witness the spectacular sunrise amidst the fog and clouds. I'm confident, the stunning evening view also will undoubtedly be a feast for the eyes.

While there is no entry fee or set visiting time, it is advisable to visit during daylight hours to minimize the risk of any potential hazards. To fully appreciate the splendor of Pettimudi Hill Top, it is recommended to plan your visit during the prime season between October and March. How to Reach Pettimudi Hill Top

Pettimudi Hill Top is located 5 kilometers away from Adimali town and 19 kilometers away from Munnar. It is easily accessible by road, by hiring a taxi or a jeep from Adimali to reach the Hill. You can catch a glimpse of the peak from Adimaly town and reach the trek starting point by vehicle with the help of the map on this page. From there, a leisurely walk of less than 1 kilometer is required to reach the summit.

It is advisable to wear shoes with a good grip while trekking to the top, as the path can be quite slippery. The path to the top is nearly vertical and challenging, but the breathtaking views that await you at the summit are well worth the effort. This is an extraordinary destination that should...
