Read moreThe day I visited this place(month of December 2020), the gates to this place were wide open, the watchmen was nowhere to be found, two elderly individuals were sitting under a shelter (seemed to be the employees of the gallery) and cared a little about our presence out there. The gallery is a house to some great paintings of Raja Ravi Varma's which I could only see through the windows because the doors were closed and there was nobody to attend us (tourists). The doors, to be honest were not strong enough to guard the paintings on display. The Art Gallery had notices and some key instruction (I assume) that were pasted on the walls which were all printed in Malayalam (which I feel that most of the tourists wouldn't really be capable of reading).
