A wonderful place not to be missed. It's so close to the national highway that it's hard to miss. Sankar was India's most acclaimed cartoonist and guru to likes of RK LAXMAN and balasaheb thhakre. The museum lists all his work and articles about him to inspire the younger generations. Sankar was the doyen of painting competition for children in India. His belief that art in childhood paves the way to making sincere adults. He dedicated his life for children's painting activities. Paintings by children world over are displayed in the memorial. And are a great tribute to Sankar's vision. The memorial is designed very beautifully. It also houses an art gallery and painting exhibitions are conducted on Avery regular basis.
