Subix Merry Land — Attraction in Kerala

Subix Merry Land is a park for kids with many rides. But as others mentioned in their reviews, it is very poorly maintained.

The main issue I found is the lack of safety precautions. There were steel bars jutting out of the ground beside the walkway. Kids running around might fall and have serious injuries. Two of the swings are too close to each other and kids walking around then could be hit if someone is on the swing. The motorized merry-go-round is very high up from the ground, but don't have doors or seatbelts to make sure kids don't fall off. These are basic safety precautions that should be there. Either the management or the authorities should take care of this.

The rates for entry and the rides are not too high. It does have the potential to be a very good park with some upkeep. They shouldn't be skimming on safety and...

Very poor condition...no staffs too to take care of rides. The place looked very much dead than alive. You need to pay extra for all rides inside the park. But the question is....whom to pay? And whom to go for seeking information?. The condition of the machines were such that as if they hadnt been run for ages. We really had a bad experience after visiting and we even demanded our money (Rs.20 per person) back, which they were unwilling to provide us. I seriously suggest renovating the machines...

Park with an entry fee of 50 rupees/person. Most of the rides were not functioning and for functioning rides we have to pay extra. Not kept well, slippery tiles ( had bad rain the day ). Not well lighten in some places with risk of kids. Overgrown shrubs with potential risk of snakes. Rides for kids was rusted with chance of injury. Had a great experience 5 years back and hoped it should have gone well. Consider improving the place...
