It is a very old temple of Trivandrum, located on the top of a hill. The view from the top of the hill will be a visual treat for us. The temple is built on a big rock with Granite stones. The main prathishta is Lord Mahavishnu. Very peaceful atmosphere. The temple management people are also so nice.

As per legends this temple is as old as Mahabharata time. A quiet lane in Tirumala, has the imposing rock and a Sri Krishna Temple perched on top. Renovation was done recently. Serene place . Very much accessible by vehicle and a short walk to the top.

Ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Sree Krishna located on the top of a huge Black Granite Rock. Therefore locally this Temple is known as Parahkovil. Due to this historical temple the place derived its name : Thirumala, literally meaning "Holy Hill" in Malayalam.

Numerous legends and myths about the temple exist. Temple is believed to be constructed by Pancha Pandavas. Presence of Manipara (Bell Rock) and Theerthakulam (Holy Spring on the top of the rock) adds strength to the myths and legends. Archaeologically this temple is believed to be constructed about 5000 years back. Temple is completely constructed of Black Granite rock. According to the Stone inscriptions found in the temple, renovation of the temple was performed by the Founder of Modern Travancore, Sree Anizham Thirunal Marthanda Varma, while taking a huge rock from the hill for the Purpose of constructing Ottakal Mandalam in Sree Padmanabha Swamy temple.

The view of Thiruvananthapuram City from this temple is really mesmerizing. From the top of the hill, we can see the Thiruvananthapuram international airport, Arabian sea, Western ghats, Greeneries & sky scrapers of Thiruvananthapuram City. We can enjoy Cool breeze and brilliant natural scenery of Sunset and Sunrise from the top of the hill. Night view is spectacular, the City appears as a galaxy of stars with dots of Electric lights illuminating the...

Thrichakrapuram Sreekrishna Temple is a serene and spiritually uplifting temple devoted to Lord Krishna, located in a peaceful village setting. The atmosphere is divine, especially during early morning nirmalyam and deeparadhana, when the chants and rituals create a deep sense of devotion. The temple is beautifully maintained, with traditional Kerala temple architecture and a sacred pond nearby that adds to its charm. Festivals like Janmashtami and Navaratri are celebrated with grandeur and community spirit. The presence of bhajans and regular poojas keeps the spiritual energy high. A perfect place for anyone seeking peace, devotion, and connection with...

This temple is an ancient and revered temple dedicated primarily to Lord Krishna, located atop the Thirumala hill in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Legend holds that it was built around 5000 years ago, mainly by Bhima of the Pandavas, in just one night for Draupadi (Panchali) to worship Lord Krishna, though only three doors of the temple were completed by dawn, leaving a fourth unfinished to this day

The temple is built on a rock, with approximately 110 steps leading up from the road, offering devotees a panoramic view of the Thiruvananthapuram city and making the climb a spiritually and visually...
