MRA Signature Bakery and Restaurant is more popular in South India. It welcomes you to its bakery boutique at its entrance, with that taste-reckoning sorts of pastries, chocolates, sweets and snacks. The restaurant is situated upstairs, which is quite spacious and accommodating about more than 15 dinings plus a reserved larger party dining table. There is also enough spacious parking area within the restaurant compound.
Talking about the food, the items served are rich in flavour, quality and taste- popularly Arabian, Chinese, Indian-styled main course menus- all perfectly Halal. One can easily notify the waiters with a call-on table system, which is rare in other middle-class restaurants. By pressing different options down in the given device, various responses are done by the waiters.
MRA Signature restaurant is known for its spicy, real Arabian taste-provoking Shawarma & Grilled Chicken. Other items like Fried rice, Biriyani, are all sumptuous and tasty. Porotta, Chappathi, Naan are all large-sized for its offering price. Momos is available in the starter menu, which most other restaurants fail to offer. The number of non-vegetarian (chicken/mutton/beef/egg/other sea food- prawns, squid, fish) and vegetarian dishes available in MRA Signature are quite enormous compared to other similar restaurants.
The soups served here was found to be less-salted in more than one occasion. Moreover, due to its massive rush during peak hours, items like Shawarma, Shawai & Kubbus finish much before dining...
Read moreAnother example of utterly incompetent service. Very sad that many restaurants in Trivandrum are starting to show similar signs. One good thing is that they do have home delivery within a certain range, but only for orders above ₹250. Food is average and costs are also average or thereabouts - nothing special. The problem is, I was expecting something very special. If you have to take almost an hour to prepare and serve one curry, it must be amazing. It was not. It was unimpressive, at best. Shawarma is not good, in my opinion, but people say that I compare unfairly with 'authentic' shawarma from the middle East. Not to worry! There are other special things about this place. For example, once, they took my parcel order over phone, and then when I went there, half an hour later, they said, "It's not ready yet, please wait", and then another half an hour later, when I complained, they said, "Sir, we are out of that curry. You ordered the same curry twice, right? We can give you the curry you ordered by phone, but we cannot give you the curry that you ordered when you came here because we are out of that curry". I still do not know what they were talking about. Needless to say, I've...
Read moreKindly refrain if you want quality food on time. I ordered a Cheese Velvet cake for INR 1300 last week for my daughters birthday. I asked it to be delivered by 3 P.M. I was told by 4 P.M that the cake got spoiled in transit and they are making another one and I got one by 6 p.m. I ordered some items too along with that which I never got. I was under a relief that I at least got the cake finally. Upon cutting it we understood that it was not a cheese cake rather a normal velvet cake and that too was not baked properly. I called them up and they were arguing that this is how a cheese cake would look like and I shared them the photos too. After that another guy called claiming that he is from head office and offered another cake the next told. I told them that my purpose was for that specific date and it was not served. He was very kind hearted and due to his broadminded attitude he offer a refund on INR 200 and that too was not received till date.
Kindly request all of you that if you are looking for some good quality cake please opt for some other bakery.
NB: I dont have any complaints for the restaurant food as it is good and I was a...
