Powerful Goddess worshipped through generations

I grew up visiting this temple with my Appa & Amma. My father used to tell lots of stories about the Bhagawathi in the temple. We used to visit atleast twice a month

Try to visit the temple during Deeparadhana time in morning and evening. It’s really auspicious and gratifying. It’s held around 6:15 to 6:30 in the Mornings and 6:30 to 6:45 in the Evenings

Lemon Garland, Red flower garlands... Bangles are the common offerings made

If U’ve any unfulfilled wish, it’ll be taken care of if U offer “Pongala Payasam” ( A sweet porridge made by boiling rice, jaggery, cardamom & other stuff like banana as U wish)

Off late, Parking our vehicles has been a concern due to lack of space around...

Mandaikadu Beach is an underrated treasure! The beach is spotless, with soft sands and crystal-clear waters. It’s the perfect peaceful escape to unwind and disconnect from the hustle and bustle. The natural beauty is simply stunning, especially during sunrise and sunset.

The locals are super welcoming, and there are a few small stalls around for snacks and refreshments. If you’re after a serene beach vibe, Mandaikadu is where you want to be. Highly recommend...

This is the place where I used to hangout with my friends and family during the lockdowns and weekends and mondaikadu festivals. Lot of mole carbs are available here. whenever I come to Kanyakumari, I haven't missed going to mondaikadu beach A calm and quiet atmosphere will also calm your nerves. With a shadow of coconut and casuarina trees, this beach 😎 offers a lot for one who visits. Only local people know this place, and they come and play cards in...

One of the cool spot to spend time at evening . Not a crowded beach . Prime things is that You can see the sunset here . No toilet facilities no drinking water available. No shops to have food in the beach you should walk 0.5 km from the beach to have food . Better buy snacks and get into the beach . Still you can get such things the shops nearby . At the time of festival , beach will be too crowded and police will rush people not to sit.
