At a distance of 3 km from Pachmarhi Bus Stand, Apsara Vihar is stunning waterfalls located in Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh. Situated near Silver Falls, it is one of the waterfalls in Pachmarhi, and among the best places to visit in Pachmarhi especially for adventure enthusiasts.

Deep inside the jungle of Pachmarhi, Apsara Vihar is a small waterfall, cascading down from a height of around 30 feet into an inviting pool below. During the British rule, the English women were found bathing in the pool often who seemed like fairies to the locals and hence they called the falls Apsara Vihar or Fairy Pool. It is an ideal place for safe swimming, diving, and a natural open bath.

This is one of the most popular haunts for travelers and picnickers to take a break from the monotony and spend some time splashing in the water and taking in the ambiance of the place. One has to trek 1.5 km downhill the trail to witness the best view of the waterfall. It's a short trek from Rajat Prapat and is a sight to behold during the monsoon season when it cascades in...

Apsara Vihar Fairy Pool is an enjoyable small waterfall. Surrounded by trees, the rocks make for an inviting place to dip your toes in. The Fairy Pool is shallow. Apsara Vihar is around 1.5 kms walk into the forest. Total walking distance is 3 km to & fro. The place has 2 routes, one - view point to see Silver falls and other to reach Apsara Vihar. The 30 foot waterfall was just a treat to watch. after monsoon it had good quantity of water. Very nice area to walk around. Great place for photography. Rajat pratap fall, Apsara vihar and Panchali Kund on the same way. If you are willing to walk little more you can see famous rock paintings. visit Apsara Vihar/Silver falls early. They close at 3:30 PM.

You need forest permit to visit site seeing points in reserved location from Bison Lodge. You can get walking permit OR book Gypsy from Bison Lodge. You can visit Apsara vihar + Silver Fall without Gypsy by getting walking permit from Bison lodge. Walking permit cost 15/person. Gypsy cost to visit only Apsara...

It was a very beautiful and calm place and a little fall you can also see here. Please be cautious ⚠️ don't go inside the water even how much good swimmer you are as the water is deep inside somewhat 40 feet depth. Many people have lost there life as they come to enjoy this place. I am writing this review just because a boy who is a good swimmer died here on the same day when I left this place 5 min. Before so pls pls don't be adventurous here my heartily request to you all Just enjoy the beauty of nature don't play it with If you go inside someone is looking at you and he will copy the same so don't play with life of others . Ultimate aim to visit this place is sceneic beauty that you can enjoy here.

It is the only worst memory of mine during entire trip of pachmarhi. I again request you all don't go inside just enjoy yourself. I hope you will understand that. Have a nice...

Nice trek over narrow & steep mountainous jungle tracks till one finally reaches the Falls Also called Angel Falls, it is indeed a beautiful picnic spot The Falls do not fall from such a great height nor are they that famous, it is principally known only to the local people. The local guide makes it clear that the trek is tiring. But it is a definite must-see on any itinerary in Panchmarhi, if only for the jungle trek and it's scenic beauty, but most of all for the tinkling-anklet soothing music made by the falls in the silence of the jungle... One can sit for and hour or so and take in the verdant surroundings, gaze at the blue of the sky through the foliage, all to the background music of the cascading water... Worth the trek and the effort to reach there...
