Taking a plunge from around 350 ft high cliff, Rajat Prapat looks like a silver strip that falls straight into the forests. The fall is on the other side of the mountain and to see it from one end, you have to climb uphill for a few minutes.

Once you climb, you will witness the magnificent Satpura hill range in the backdrop and the fall is enveloped in Green. Rajat Prapat is one of the most rewarding places to visit in Pachmarhi.

Height:107 meters.

Location: Hoshangabad district, Madhya Pradesh, India.

Entry fee: Free of cost.

Best Season to Visit: Any time of the day, post or during monsoon and winter season. October to May.

Distance from the Pachmarhi Bus Stand: Around 3 KM to Apsara Vihar and then a 3 KM trek of going to the falls and coming back to...

Also known as Rajat Prapat, Silver Falls is the name tourists recognise these Falls by. It is called so, because it falls from a great height of over 2500 feet and looks like a silver chain cutting through the dense green hillside. This is hidden away in the jungle close to Panchmarhi. Most tourist locations here are accessible either by climbing up or down. Silver Falls is no exception. One has to trek quite a bit to reach the spot, but it seems well worth it. On weekends quite a few brave the trek here and enjoy bathing in the pool at its foot. If one is alert, one cam observe a lot of colourful birds and some small jungle mammals. The brightly coloured flora of the region adds to...

You can get the tickets from bison lodge and guide from there itself or can chose to have only tickets and local guides can be hired at the entry point. The view is nice and trekking is tiring and scary and one may have to face the wrath of Wild Animals if encountered. If visited in correct Season, you'll find the fall's reflection or the water to exact silver hence Named, "Silver Falls or...

Visited last October.. Roads were under construction.. need to walk 3km on few hundreds ft downward.. you please feel the stiffness on return .. Good place . Nice scenic beauty. You will see wide angle of Satpura hills you must spend time with Apsara Bihar which is on the way, 400 m before Silver Falls . It is the place from where Silver Falls started.. much better place . Carry swimming costume to take bath..It was told that British officers went their to take bath with their families and tribals thought that Apsara's came from Heaven to enjoy Satpura hills. Located in the mid of dense forest, it's highly recommended to be there before evening, from top of the hill, it appears in mid of all & rest other side there is dense green beauty. This Rajat Prapaat waterfall is one of the biggest fall in India & looks more beautiful in Monsoon Season It takes 3 Km walk to reach there. As this fall is in Jungle area so you need permission from forest department. It offers scenic beauty of mountain ranges and waterfall from 350m.you may need local guide to reach to the place. Best time to visit is rainy and winter.
