This fort is situated in the heart of the city. Getting there is a bit difficult by car but not impossible. Roads are too narrow. A must see place if you like historical monuments. For many years this was unattended and most of it's structure has been demolished. There remains a gate, deep well, some few demolished room structures and huge boundary wall on all 4 sides. This fort has some caretakers who can guide you about the remains. It is open to visitors from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm all days. Now the local authorities have cleared up this place and looks better. Recommend to go there with your shoes as there are large stairs and slippery on a rainy day.

Bhadravati is a city and a municipal council in Chandrapur district in the state of Maharashtra, India. It lies 26 km from Chandrapur city. The Bhadravati Fort is located In heart of Bhadravati City.. This historical monument was made by the Gond king Bhankyasing across 3 acres of land. There is a big gate to the front of the fort, and all four sides are surrounded by huge walls. There is also a deep ancient well at the center of the fort. The locals say that the fort developed over 2000 years ago. Outside of the forth there are a few houses in which local residents live. Some structural stones are present in near area.

This old fort is rather small and has lost a lot of its original structures. There is a well, and a staircase that leads to it, which the caretaker told us was the snan grah (bathing place) of Rani Bhadravati. There are a lot of sculptures, which seem to have been defaced or else have broken down due to old age. There is a gate structure remaining to the main compound of the fort. The paths leading to the fort are rather narrow and can be difficult for a car. There are no entry fees and no facilities at this place.
