It is also known as “PCMC Chowpati”. This is a government park developed and maintained by PCMC near Nigdi Pradhikaran PCMC bus stop. Read moreBhakti Shakti Garden in Nigdi, PCMC, is a small urban garden best suited for children rather than adults. The main attractions here are kid-friendly rides, open play areas, and colorful surroundings that keep youngsters entertained. The garden is clean and safe, making it a comfortable spot for parents to bring their kids for an evening outing. Small food stalls and ice-cream vendors add to the “mela”-like feel, which is enjoyable for families with children.
While the garden has a prominent statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Sant Tukaram Maharaj, along with a tall national flag that adds cultural and patriotic value, the overall space lacks variety and engagement for adults. Read moreI recently visited a beautiful garden in this area, and I was truly impressed by its charm and tranquillity. The highlight of the garden is undoubtedly the towering Indian flag, proudly fluttering in the breeze, evoking a strong sense of patriotism and pride.
The garden itself is meticulously maintained with lush greenery, colourful flowerbeds, and well-paved pathways perfect for leisurely strolls. Benches are thoughtfully placed, offering serene spots to sit and admire the surroundings. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it an ideal place for families, morning walkers, and those seeking a quiet retreat.
The presence of the large Indian flag adds a unique touch to the garden, making it not just another green space but a symbol of national pride. The flag is prominently visible from various points within the garden, serving as a majestic backdrop for photos.
Overall, this garden is a delightful spot to relax, connect with nature, and feel a deep sense of national pride. Highly recommended for anyone...
