The original name of Sambhaji Lake (Kambar Talav) was QAMAR lake. This was named after daughter’s name of Aurangzeb-the Mughal Emperor. But now this is known as Kambar Talav. It is also known as Sambhaji Lake.It is a great bird watching center with the many migratory birds found flocking here in winter. This tank was filled with white and pink lotuses. Best Season to Visit: October to February Best Time To Visit: Morning, Afternoon, Evening. it's a good public place for people of all age groups..... however it has no public toilets and isn't very clean.......but good for morning walk......also a place for bird watching and having a peaceful and calm...

तलावाचे स्थान व आस-पास चे परिसर खूप चांगले आहे,तलावाला चिटकूनच एक रान आहे छोटेसे वन अन त्या वनात एक उद्यान आहे. त्याच बरोबर मी तीत साप ही पाहिलेत... समस्या एवढीच आहे की तलाव हा सारखे अधून मधून पान वनस्पती मुळे झाकलेला असतो,व दिसायला असे दिसते की एक मैदानाच आहे.! त्यामुळे तलाव हा स्पष्ट दिसत नाही.! त्याच बरोबर आस पास असलेल्या बगीचा चे पण काही नवीन केलं पाहिजे बाकी त्याची जागा वगैरे हे खूपच चांगले आहे.तुम्ही फिरायला दिवसा जाऊ शकता.अन तुम्हाला फोटोग्राफी करायची असेल तर बाजूच्या उद्यानात खूप चांगले जंगली स्पॉट मिळतील.बाकी याच्या पलीकडे उद्यानात असलेल्या गोष्टीं कडे ज्यास्त लक्ष देण्यात आले नाही आहे.! बाजुला चाई नीज च्या...
