The original name of Sambhaji Lake (Kambar Talav) was QAMAR lake. This was named after daughter’s name of Aurangzeb-the Mughal Emperor. But now this is known as Kambar Talav. It is also known as Sambhaji Lake.It is a great bird watching center with the many migratory birds found flocking here in winter. This tank was filled with white and pink lotuses. Best Season to Visit: October to February Best Time To Visit: Morning, Afternoon, Evening. Time Required for Sightseeing It is the most beautiful place in Solapur with Smriti udyan nearby.But not maintained properly by SMC and some ugly people of Solapur.
