Visiting Neevruttinath Maharaj Samadhi was a lifetime experience, so satisfying, spiritual and emotional. Maharashtra loves , adores Saint Dnyaneshwar and Neevruttinath Maharaj is not only his elder brother but Guru also inspiring him for the monumental work of writing and telling Dnyaneshwari to masses . I havenтАЩt read any works of Neevruttinath Maharaj but whatever sketchy descriptions I have read in different тАЬpotholes-paths, I could figure out that he carried the mantle of wisdom descended from NathSampradaaya and passed on the entire knowledge to Saint Dnyaneshwar . Must had been a storehouse of knowledge, tradition and love . I prostrated in front of his samadhi with eyes full of tears and gratitude to this one of the greatest Marathi personality .

Must-visit spiritual site in Trimbakeshwar as Nath & Sant tradition pride of Maharashtra This place is a very important spiritual landmark for devotees. Nivruttinath Mandir is the samadhi of Sant Nivruttinath, the guru of Sant Dnyaneshwar, and a sacred spot in the Warkari and Nath tradition. This place is part of MaharashtraтАЩs pride тАФ the Nath Sampradaya and Sant Parampara тАФ and deserve to be visited along with Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga, Kushavarta Kund, and Brahmagiri Hill. If you are coming to Trimbak for pilgrimage, donтАЩt miss this place. ЁЯЩП

Nivruttinath ji is the prominent and revered saint of Varkari sampradaya. He is elder brother and Guru of Sant Dyaneshwar. His samadhi mandir is here. Almost every one of who visits for trayambakeshwar jyotirlinga darshan also comes here. The temple main mandap is small which houses samadhi and vigrah of Vitthal Rukmini. There is a huge hall where satsang, food feedeing and religious ceremonies are held. Many small shrines are there in premises Temple is presently under reconstruction.

Born in the 13th century, Nivruttinath was the elder brother of the famed saint Dnyaneshwar and is often linked with the spiritual lineage that includes other notable figures such as Nakhu, Gahininath, and Eknath. His life and teachings significantly influenced the Bhakti movement in Maharashtra, advocating for a direct connection to the divine without the intermediation of rituals or priests.

NivruttinathтАЩs teachings emphasized love, devotion, and the pursuit of knowledge as pathways to divine experience. He is known for dialogues that explore the complexities of existence, suffering, and the nature of God and reality, often through metaphors and stories that resonate deeply with his followers.

He is also credited with several spiritual compositions, and his influence extends beyond Maharashtra, impacting various spiritual traditions in India. NivruttinathтАЩs legacy is marked by his emphasis on compassion, humility, and the service of humanity, embodying the essence of the Nath philosophy that transcends religious boundaries.

Devotees often seek his blessings at numerous temples dedicated to him, where prayers and rituals are performed, celebrating his contributions to spirituality and the welfare of society. His life remains a source of inspiration for seekers on the spiritual path, encouraging them to seek truth, inner peace, and divine love. Through his teachings, Nivruttinath Maharaj continues to guide many towards self-discovery and...
