Sant Savatamali Udyan — Attraction in Maharashtra

Though the official timings are 6am-10am and 4pm to 8pm, it's always open (there's no gate as such). No ticket is reqd and hence I have been frequenting this place. Its near Wakad bridge but bit inside and cannot be spotted from main road. There's a crematorium nearby and also temple. It's also know ganpati visarjan ghat. There's ample parking space and it's free.

Mostly it's deserted, you won't find many people (and hence you would find young couples enjoying the privacy ☺️) Avoid coming here after sunset.

It's green and maintained and I found most of the kids playing stuff working. There's restroom as well. I found people enjoying potluck here one Sunday afternoon.

Very nice place but it's not maintained at all. We went for morning walk hardly 1-2 persons were there. Looks very deserted !! Though they have nice facilities like toilets, open gym (which in very good condition) amphitheatre etc. I think people are not coming due to bad foul smell from the nearby Nala(sewage water) and it stinks badly !!! Corporation should look into it and make more greener to attract more people. Lastly there's ample space for parking and nearby temple...

This is a quiet place with clean and maintained surrounding. If you visit in evening about the time of sun set, you will hear many-many birds chirping. Also, during peak season of monsoon, the side river overflows and gives pretty sight. There are places to sit and enjoy for family and couples as well. There will be few locals.
