Sasawane Beach belongs to the little village of Sasawane, which is part of Alibag Taluka in Maharashtra. It falls under Raigarh district. It is one of the least explored beaches and thus is exclusively calm to enjoy a relaxing holiday. It is about 20 kms from Alibaug city.
Major Attraction
Apart from Sasawane Beach with its scenic skyline views, the Karmarkar Sculpture Museum is the major attraction here. These sculptures were carved by Mr. Nanasaheb Karmarkar, who is no more, and these are displayed in his huge mansion. There are over 150 masterpieces to admire. People also visit the Shree Fulai Mata Mandir in Sasawane.
