Mawsmai Nongthymmai Eco Park is one of the most scenic and peaceful destinations in Sohra (Cherrapunji). Its the top edge of seven sisters waterfall. You can enjoy the valley view but you may skip this point if you are running short on time The walk amidst the Eco park was one of my good memories. The park is massive, very few people around, very beautiful sights from different parts of the park. Have to visit if you are there.So the water that falls from the seven sisters fall is being directed from eco park. Nothing else worth noticing here. Looks more like an under development area.This is the place where seven sisters waterfall origintes . The park has cafeteria and snacks shop along with basic utility shopping. It also has swings things to discover the kid inside you once more.

You'll walk over the main waterfall. It has a very small dam from which the fall is controlled.It is actually the upper hills portion from where seven sisters falls are coming down. A nice place to roam around during afternoon. Falls are hardly visible since from roof-top you can't see the walls of the same side properly... Great illusional view of Bangladesh is there beyond the hills, that we got confused with clouds during afternoon...a nice place for family, friends,...

Eco Park Cherrapunji

Perfectly Designed and maintained by the Government of Meghalaya, Eco Park is one of the popular tourist attractions of Cherrapunjee from where the visitors can enjoy lovely view of the ‘Green Canyons’ of Cherapunji along with the waterfalls  that are located nearby. The eco park also has a crystal clear water stream in its boundaries.

Walk past the crossover bridge to arrive at its end for admiring the nice views of the canyons. The views from here are simply breathtaking. Right from the other side of the park, admire the amazing views of the plains of Bangladesh. The park also has a vast variety of indigenous orchids given by the Shillong Agri-Horticultural society.
