Bhayandar Khadi — Attraction in Mira-Bhayander

Located at the end of Jesal Park in Bhaindar (East) is this fast developing area popularly known as Bhayandar Khadi.

Bhayander Khadi is in two parts one is of West side of bhayander and the other is on the East side. The East Khadi is very good and very useful to the people lives beside. The Khadi has 2 big grounds 1- for cricket and the 2- for the concerts or another programs, In between these grounds we also have 3 small play grounds for volleyball, badminton, and etc. There is a garden named as "Rose garden" with no roses!!!!!!!!! It also has a small park at the center of Khadi, beside the park there are some small rides for the children to play and beside there is a football ground with some exercise materials for the needies... Nice place. Roads and gardens are very clean but the water here at khadi is not that clean. Some people during the pooja, they throw all the pooja material like flowers, coconut inside a plastic bag which is obviously not degradable and this creates pungent smell in the brink. Also during ganesh utsav, all the murti created using plaster of Paris gets into the khadi. Hence I would suggest the visarjan of local festival should be banned on water bodies to reduce pollution.
