It's a very beautiful digambar jain siddha Kshetra near Nashik. It has mention in nirvaan kaand. "Shri Gajpanth Shikhar Suvishal, tinke charnan namu tihu kaal" The pahad is small but very big steps around 450 stairs but a tough ride. You will need about 30-45 mins to climb..so better to start early in the morning. There are two dharamshalas one on the talheti maintained by mumukshu mandal and other about 4 kms from pahad maintained by teerth Kshetra trust. Both have decent stay and food. There are many trekkers on this, so once you reach temple, you need to call the pandit ji to open the door from inside.

Sri Digambar Jain Mandir in Gajapantha - Mhasrul, Maharashtra [Sidha Shetra] There is 06 temple's (3 cave temple and 2 regular temple on mountain and 1 temple in the village Mhasrul), Pahaad/mountain; 450 to 500 stiff steps. This is historical place and important place for Jain pilgrims. 7 Balbhadras and 8 crore Munis attained salvation here. Lord Mahaveerji is main idol in the temple. The caves are called Chamar Leni. Parshwanath cave is worth to see Muni Shri Sudharmasagarji achieved Sallekhana here on 24th September 1973. This place witnessed many miracles incidents at that time.

Very good Jain temple. Pratima of Bhagwan ji is is very divine. One must definitely visit. Bhojanshala is also there, they provide very good food @70 Rs per plate. Dharmashala is also there in case devotees decide to stay. Around 4kms from Gajpantha temple Gajpantha pahad. Facility of bhojnalaya and dharmashala is there. Two temples are in premises at the bottom of pahad and temple is also there on top of pahad. 450 steep steps one has to climb to reach pahad top. There is no facility of doli there as it is a short climb but steep.

It's very good jain pilgrim (Jain teerth, having a decent climbing with steps. It has having railing all arround for support in climbing, just few steps (max 50) are bit typical at last as they are bit higher side in climbing. In midways there are chairs with shades for resting at 3-4 places. It has got very nice jain statues on top, rare old statues engraved within mountain. It is nearby to nashik.. and nearby to gajpantha mountain , there is a very nice jain dharamshala with nice rooms and very nice jain food canteen. Nearby to dharamshala there is very beautiful jain mandir (temple) as well. From dharamshala we can get sharing autos upto mountain's steppings (40-50-60 rs per person so arround 200-250 rs for 4 persons) autos drops upto mountain (gajpantha) and waits for you and then drops you back upto dharamshala so you can/should provide fare/full fare at last after reaching dharamshala. One should avoid catching any else road side moving auto (advised) as the autos standing/waiting outside of dharamshala are well verified as per...

This Jain Digambar worship place is situated on the hills with lush greenery around.

In the base, there are many Jain Tirthankar's Jin Pratimaji. One can go on a hill, which is 20 to 30 minutes steps climbing and you reach Temples on the hill. It has a very beautiful view from there. One can sit in peace and do their Pooja and Bhakti here.

There is Dharmshala also, which has well maintained rooms and parking facilities are also available.

One can also avail food facilities like breakfast, Lunch and Dinner (Chauvihar) after paying very small amounts of money.

One of the most peaceful places to perform our...
