New and well maintained waterpark. Good for kids. Rides are just enough for kids to spend 4-5 hours in a day. Hope they will add more rides in future to make it more happening. The management seems doesn't have experience with international standards when it comes to planning and managing. Here are some suggestions for management:
Plant more trees in open spaces to create shades ...it should feel like a jungle. Palm trees do not help in a hot place like Odisha. Separate out the counters for swimming costume rental and locker key rental. Swimming costume rental takes more time and the people who bring their own swimming costumes stand in line for hours which is unnecessary. You can move your guests faster if you separate them. Swimming costume rental should be done in a mini super market style when folks can pick and choose their size and there should be couple of checkout counters to deposit money and taking the costume. This will eliminate lot of unnecessary delay that happens at the counter where your staff try to find a best fit of costume for every guest. Same should be done for returns. Get some trash bins in rest rooms. End of the day; your customers are Odias ...and we (Odias) have a very pathetic sense of cleanliness...so your guests are not going to go out and throw those trash...give them one in the bathroom. Every ride needs to have it's own tube of color. So people should not carry tube of one ride to tube of another ride. This way you have the sufficient count at each ride and there is a balance of the quantity. Your support staff should bring tubes back to starting of the ride once someone is done. That way there is no argument between guests when it comes to getting a tube for a ride. Please make swimming costumes mandatory else get bouncers to evict those guests out of park. Some aunties wear salwar-kameeze and get into water irrespective of multiple boards telling them about the dress code. It is unhygienic and not safe also to get into water with cotton cloths. Install an attractions map at different places with "you are here" sign. Kids get excited with maps. Install Swimming costume spinner dryer (Quick 1 minute it squeezes out the extra water) in the bathroom area for convenience for your guests.
Overall...a good effort to bring a nice quality water park to Odisha. Hope you will expand and make it one of the happening places in the state. There is lot of potential for a good quality water park...
Read moreHighly Disappointed. If we think a Business Model where we would be flagbearers of that Business in an entire state than we need to have some values & ethics in us to be a BRAND. This is what completely lacks in this wonderful venture of a Water Park, only the second of its kind in Odisha state.
Strategically located in the Puri Konark Marine Drive, and both Puri & Konark being the hubs of tourism in Odisha we expect the Water Park to atleast mantain the Image of the state in our own country. With the limited space available and the options of amusement at out disposal, when we enter the park paying 500 Rs per head even for Kids above 5 years(or 190 cms) we expect the least is to mantain cleanliness.
I am aghast at the pathetic state of Mud, Dirt & Fungi growing in the water of the Major attraction of Splash/Dancing waves Pool. Out of the 5 options of water Rides only 2 are working at any given time. The mangement doesn't Run the Big Slides or The Rain Dance Floor or Lazy River ride at any given point of time.
What a fool people are made for visiting the park, when we pay we have the right for all rides till the end of the day. The mangement thinks people visiting here haven't been to many other water parks all over the country, like Aquatica in Kolkata or Water Kingdom in Mumbai, to name some. Mangement Bhai Log this 21st Century connected India, and people can't be fooled in the name of entertainment. U can fool one person for once but not hundreds for long!!
Who gave the right to the management to stop the Rides in the Big slides, Rain Dance Floor & Lazy River Ride. Only the Kids cove and Splash Pool are running at any given point of time. It's April in peak time of Summer with so many people in the Park who have paid hefty sum for entry, Dresses and Locker and you cheat them. We had gone to your Park to spend some quality time after Paying almost 800 Bucks per head and we were 5 of us, so almost 4000 Rs and you cheat Public like this. We couldn't use so many rides as none were working. What a Waste of our Hard earned Money!!
Horrible Management engaged in only minting money from gullible Public in the name of Water Amusement Park without even a hint of priority to pool cleanliness or Customer Satisfaction.
Avoid this Park at any cost and look for the alternative Water Park(Ocean World) at Phulanakhara, near...

Nice water park. Newly started, but has issues with overpriced ticket, Rs 400 per person, then locker is not free. Rs 100 for locker non refundable, Rented cloths are costly, they do not allow outside cloths. They only say that what cloth you are wearing is not cotton and our rented cloths are. So they are overpriced and refundable in cloths is half the amount. Very expensive water park.
On second visit to the place 1 week back, Now the price is not acceptable and staffs misbehaving. Around Rs 500 per ticket. And cloths rent and refundable makes it around another Rs 200 so total makes it 700. Even if you use reputed brand company swimming dresses and another brand Wonderla.. like from Bangalore is not acceptable. It's does not make any sense of spending so much high price for hardly 3 pools. Where as Wonderla like brands charges overall are Rs 750 only. So bit dissatisfied and further we had an argument with there staff regarding this. The owner itself misbehaves and is explaining the cost price of the construction of the water park. Odisha government has passed a license for it but didn't decide the true value of the tickets on the entertainment event. More over they serve bad quality food inside the premises and when asked they are saying you have to eat it. One of the fellow person very close visited from Rourkela had a argument so, as he asked that the patties served there was rotten. The person selling inside said what you get you have to eat. So a fight got started. He explained that a human is paying money for water park and the food served to them it's not free. And while complaining we get such answers. He also said we are not dogs to eat rotten foods. So guys I have made a choice that this water park is the worst I visited last time. So please avoid...
