The full name of this temple is SRI JAGANNATH BAIDYANATH MAHAPRABHU MANDIR PARISAR and the land on which it stands is the revenue land- AHIRABANDH. As the name suggest the main presiding deities are LORD JAGANNATH with LORD BALABHADRA, DEVI SUBHADRA & LORD SUDARSHAN in the Jagannath Temple & LORD BAIDYANATH MAHADEV in Baidyanath Shiv Temple are main presiding DEITIES. But with due course of time Ayappa temple, Devi Bimala temple, Nilamadhaba temple, Devi Parvati temple, Ganesh temple, Radha Krishna temple, Navagraha Temple & Mahalaxmi temple are built by the devotees.
Present temple of Lord Baidyanath Mahadev is built before the estd. of RSP and it is not less than 60years where as the present Jagannath temple is inaugurated in 70's is more than 40years. Earlier Lord Jagannath with Balbhadra & Subhadra Sudarshan were worshipped in a small hut(KHAPARA GHARA).
The tradition of worshipping the deities is not less than 200 years. Ratha yatra, Rasa utsav, Dola purnima, Mahashivaratri were celebrated with full joy and happiness.
Since that time the Temple stands and its festival spread this rich culture of LORD JAGANNATH & BAIDYANATH among all irrespective of caste creed, race and sex.
To add more this Temple stands 2nd in its height and design & 1st in its area in entire ROURKELA.
Traditionally or historically if we look Jagannath temple of KUARMUNDA stands 1st then this temple- Sri Jagannath Baidyanath Mahaprabhu Mandir parisar of AHIRABANDH, SECTOR-3, Jagannath temple of PANPOSH then at last but not the least Sri Niladri Bihari Jagannath Temple of JHIRPANI stands 4th. All of these temples are authorised or legal.
whereas temple of LORD JAGANNATH & BAIDYANATH(@Ahirabandh, Sector-3) Stands 2nd in height & 1st in land area(about 6acres), Sri Niladri Bihari Jagannath Temple(@Jhirpani) stands 1st in height+architectural design not only in ROURKELA but also in whole SUNDARGARH district and 2nd in land area(about 4acres) after Temple of AHIRABANDH.

The taste was superb and magnificent. Then we give puspanjali in the Ganesha temple, offer diyas and collect Prasad and tie threads also.
