I visited it yesterday and it is in pretty devastated condition. Though people still hangout here. But the park is not at all maintained. This park is easily 10 year old or more so. And it was always maintained.but during this pandamic it's in the worst condition. There are some broken branches from trees at the corner still hanging. Grass is now replaced with bushes. Dinasor is extinct now.( One Dinasor statue was there it's completely gone now). Good thing is they have added 2 swing . Nice one . One at the corner , that some random couple would bhave occupied and another at the centre that some kid and their mom will be sitting. If you get lucky try it. Else nothing to visit here. One request though , please visit the park. May be if they have enough money they will strat maintaining it like before. Ticket...
Read moreDt12/9/2022 Very well neglected except the main entrance gate.Entry gate is new (I guess ) and inside most of the items ,wheather gym equipments, children play items everything is broken or not in working condition. Irony is that it is situated infront of BALANGIR MUNICIPALITY OFFICE.
If you compare this park with other two main parks of balangir i .e. Children parks and joggers park , it stands no where. Although it is not fair to compare them as the area of Rajendra park is way to larger than the two combined.
