Every Indian must visit this place. Very patriotic and will give you goosebumps. a 40 minutes treat from Border Security Forces. It definitely is a "do not want to miss" opportunity. Security is very high. Do not take big bags, not even a backpack. Book online early for VIP gallery seating which is the best option. Go there early and get your seats. I found it highly unorganised and commercialized place. Had seen it on tv as a child, but in real it was pure chaos. Completely avoidable or skipbble place. The crowd dancing, the cheering of crowd by the personnel again n again was completely useless. Literally it was time pass.

There are much better places which can give u real patriotism feeling. Museums and galleries where u can read history, witness some of the pictures and footage of our freedom fighters.

Pro's: You can witness 2 countries performing the same kind of drill. Cons: Too commercialized, don't get the same feeling which was 2 decades ago. The person yelling in the mic is unnecessary and doesn't. BSF soldiers less, show and drama bazi is more. Too many shops, don't give the feeling about patriotism, but it makes you feel that you are in the market. Traffic congestion is very high. No use of booking online tickets, they will put in 3 or 4th floor...
