The goddess appeared and subdued the demon by pressing him underneath a mountain. Jagdham: Another notable story involves a Pratihara ruler named Jagdham from Kashmir, who suffered from leprosy. During a pilgrimage, he was miraculously healed when mud from a garden near Bhinmal touched his skin, and since then, Kshemkari Mata became the family deity of the Pratiharas
