A Great view of Udaipur Perched atop a verdant hill in Udaipur's Dewali area, Neemach Mata Temple is a serene sanctuary dedicated to Neemach Mata Devi. The temple also houses an idol of Lord Ganesha and three west-facing stone lions, symbolizing strength and protection.

Visitors can reach the temple by ascending a 900-meter walkway, which offers both stairs and an uphill slope, catering to varying preferences and fitness levels. The climb is invigorating, with panoramic views of Udaipur unfolding as one ascends, making the journey as rewarding as the destination.

Upon reaching the summit, devotees are greeted by the temple's tranquil ambiance, enhanced by the gentle rustling of leaves and the distant hum of city life. The temple's architecture is modest yet captivating, reflecting traditional design elements that exude a timeless charm. The sanctum sanctorum, where the idol of Neemach Mata Devi resides, emanates a profound sense of peace, inviting visitors to pause and reflect.

One of the temple's most enchanting features is its location, offering a bird's-eye view of Udaipur's sprawling landscape. The city, with its shimmering lakes and historic edifices, appears almost poetic from this vantage point, especially during sunrise or sunset when the play of light adds a magical touch.

For those seeking a more leisurely ascent, a state-of-the-art monocable ropeway service was inaugurated on January 22, 2024, providing an alternative route to the temple. This addition ensures that devotees of all ages and abilities can experience the temple's serenity without the physical exertion of the climb.

In conclusion, Neemach Mata Temple is not just a place of worship but a haven of tranquility that offers a unique blend of spiritual solace and natural beauty. Whether you're a devotee seeking blessings or a traveler in search of panoramic vistas, this temple promises an experience that lingers long after you've descended its...

Neemach Mata Temple is one of Udaipur’s most iconic spiritual spots, perched on a hill right next to the stunning Fateh Sagar Lake.

There are two ways to reach the top: a ropeway for a quick ride or a walking trail if you’re up for a little hike. We picked the adventurous route and walked all the way up—because why make life easy, right? It takes about 30 minutes to reach the temple on foot, and you’ll likely spot a bunch of monkeys on the way.

Even within the walking route, you have two options: an inclined slope and a staircase. We chose the inclined path, which is a bit easier on the knees and offers a steady climb with scenic views along the way.

We started our hike around 4 PM and reached the top by 5. The best part? Hardly 2-3 other people were around. It was quiet, peaceful, and the kind of place where you can just sit and soak in the view (and maybe life).

But here’s a heads-up—after 6 PM, it gets dark pretty quickly and the path isn’t well-lit, so plan your visit accordingly. We made sure to descend before sunset wrapped up.

If you’re visiting Udaipur, Neemach Mata Temple deserves a spot on your list—not just for the spiritual vibe, but for the breathtaking view that...

Almost 1000 steps to the top but worth it! The view from the top is spectacular! And above all, it's very peaceful... Lots of birds and peacocks around...moving freely and peacefully. Lots of ppl come here to the top twice a day..for them it's exercise as well as worship. Lot of ppl don't even attempt it seeing the height. But then, they are missing an important experience of their life. Jai Mata Di. Neemach Mata Temple is located on a hill on the banks of the Fateh Sagar Lake in the city of Udaipur, Rajasthan. This temple is located on a green hill in the Dewali (pronounced Dey-vaa-lee) area of Udaipur. It has both stairs and uphill slope walk way to climb, which is around 900 metres long. It enshrines the stone idol of Neemach Mata Devi. There is also an idol of Lord Ganesh and three west-facing lions of stone. One can have very beautiful view of whole city and its lakes from the temple as well as while climbing. The walk is pollution-free as no vehicles can enter in the hill boundary. Neemach Mata is the kuldevi of Dokot khandan of Bhatnagar(kayasth)and all thedokot family assemble on the occasion of Haryali amavsya and perform the...

Udaipur has a lot of famous tourist place and Neemach Mata mandir is one of them. There are two ways to reach the temple:- 1.Stairs 2.Foot path way. I prefer the second one because it's lot of easy to walk on path as compared to take stairs. There is local belief that if you build a home from rocks here you will be able to build the home in real life. But be careful don't destroy anyone else's home, if you do so your wish to build a home wouldn't be fulfill. In the pathways there are a lot of rest point if feel tired take rest on any of them. Visiting Neemach Mata mandir in early morning or evening is recommended by me. You can visit this temple even in night it remain open for 24×7. A proper arrangements of lighting is made for night visit. There is no trolley service available yet so if you are senior citizens please be careful on the path. At last happy visiting Neemach Mata Mandir.

🛕 Neemach Mata Mandir, Udaipur -Peaceful Trek & Scenic Views Recently visited Neemach Mata Mandir in Udaipur and had a truly peaceful and refreshing experience. You can reach the temple either by stairs (which we chose) or by ropeway. The ropeway costs ₹200 round trip or ₹100 one-way, but if you’re up for a mild workout, the trek via stairs takes just about 30 minutes and is totally worth it. The path is well maintained, surrounded by greenery, and gives beautiful glimpses of the city as you ascend. At the top, the temple atmosphere is calm and spiritual. There’s also a small shop near the temple where you can relax, grab a quick snack or a refreshing drink — all at affordable prices. Tip: If you’re trekking, carry your water bottle, especially during the daytime. Highly recommended for those looking to combine spirituality with a bit of nature and light adventure in Udaipur! 🌿🙏
