Avadi Paruthipattu Lake Green Park — Attraction in Tamil Nadu

The staff need to be replaced especially the sweeping staff and the security guards agency as they hunt for opportunities to harass male tourists.

The sweepers,all females, move in a bunch and begin to sweep near one, mindless of how the dust could get into sensitive equipments like cameras and if asked why are they sweeping all of a sudden near a person, then they go into lengthy arguments that they would get into trouble if they didn't sweep as if we asked them not to.

Irrational, irresponsible and anti-tourism attitude that spoils the huge tourism potential of the lake.

The security guards are one step further.

They create their own rules.

The timings displayed at the gate clearly shows 10:00 Am onwards but one of the guard, an old man, insisted that it's 10:30 Am. Such staff who don't do the work that they're employed to do but instead over-step the line just because they can are the biggest problem in Chennai that gnaws on the tourism industry.

They're all either policing people or argumentative which is not conducive for tourism to thrive in the city. Unless the TN or the Chennai authorities do not like tourists and tourism then nothing to say but if the government takes tourism seriously then they should act against this staff at Avadi lake so as to give the right signals to the other similar types all across the city and the state to be more...

It is really a peaceful and relaxing place which you must visit around avadi / poonamallee. You can plan a small picnic vacation with family or friends. Big enough space to play with kids / family / friends. A long walking path near the lake, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the lake while walking and also you can stand on the specific view spot to love the view of nature. There is a specific place where you can use the 8 shape walking method. Sitting with your family / friends in the park and spending the best time with them. Most importantly, You can go for a wonderful boat ride in the lake with the professional guide. (It won't be long)

Yesh, I went to one of the event. Our organization conducted here "World Humanitarian Day" and "Independence Day" celebration event with Walkathon. Such a great day, Good to visit. For relaxation, mind refresh & glowing. There is no age limits to visit. I think morning 6 to 10. I'm not sure Evening time exactly. Very huge space around 3 to 4km Lake road, it will take around 30 to 40minutes to complete one round walking. swimming not allowed so please Don't step into lake inside its not our safe.
