Thrill Valley — Attraction in Tamil Nadu

We were 7 adults and three kids and visited this place on 27th May'23. A kid (from the public) fell right in front of our eyes and had a head injury which resulted in a deep cut on the head. This was not taken seriously by the local team who was managing the place. We should have ideally understood from this incident that there are no safety measures nor anyone there equipped there to handle any crisis situation. Instead of leaving the place, we chose to use the tickets we purchased for the activities - Zorbing, Zipline, ATV ride and Sling shot.

Reality hit us when I was up for the sling shot. They allow people only below 75 kgs. When I went up for my turn and was released to enjoy the shot, I hit the ground during the sling shot (pic attached) and hurt my leg. While the injury was not grave, this should have ideally not happened. When questioned, they casually replied that I may be over 80kgs and the mistake was on me. For some one who is 71kgs and when this was informed prior to my turn, such reckless attitude was a major turn off.

I would recommend that no one walks into such places. Even the ATV ride zone was not cordoned off and was among all the other activities. We all only wondered how licenses to such places are given where human life has no value. We saw many activity places like these in Yelagiri and I'm sure this is the case in any tourist spot.

Such places are waiting for that one huge mistake to happen, until then people like me will make such blunders and regret later. There are better ways to have fun and this is definitely not...

Thrill valley as the name suggests sure was a thrilling experience. Since we were travelling with a child we were looking for safer and child friendly options and at a glance Thrill valley seemed pretty adult centric. But the lil one had taken a liking to the place from a pamphlet he saw and insisted on us taking him there. When destiny beckons there's no looking back, right! So here we were in an adventure park which had something for everyone with a will to thrill. We took one of the packages and the lil one had lots of fun trying out different activities - the zip line, the buggy ride, king' ladder and the rope bridges. The staff were courteous, well trained and took care as to ensure the safety of the participants. The owner Mr. Mike himself was quite friendly and went an extra mile to ensure that all the guests felt at home. He even took us on a trek through the forest where we saw fresh sloth bear claw marks on trees, hundreds of years old pygmy settlement, water hole, few medicinal herbs, rare mushrooms etc. This place is just about 2 kms away from the boat house and as a bonus, on the way to the Thrill valley, we even witnessed mattu Pongal rituals at a temple nearby. Overall a day well spent with the right mix of nature...

I visited Thrill Valley with my daughter and a friend recently, looking for a much needed break from a hectic and stressful work routine. Nestled amidst the lush, peaceful forests of Yelagiri, the setting itself offered a sense of calm and escape.

We tried the ATV ride, human slingshot, buggy ride, zipline ride and rope course. Each activity was not only thrilling but also very thoughtfully designed with quality and safety in mind. Everything felt well planned and professionally managed, which allowed us to truly enjoy the experience without worry. What stood out the most was the genuine care and attentiveness of the staff. They were patient, kind and ensured we felt safe and confident throughout.

I truly appreciate that the team at Thrill Valley is committed to excellence, both in their service and in the way the entire park is run. Their warmth and professionalism turned a day of adventure into a truly refreshing and memorable experience.
